I have been providing dentistry for the families in the Larkfield/Windsor area for the last twenty-two years. I have enjoyed dentistry over the years, incorporating new technology and techniques when possible. This has allowed me to work more efficiently while personalizing each patients needs.

I have a great staff, beautiful location with lots of parking.

Front Office (Receptionist)

Arlene is a people person and loves being in charge of keeping all our patients happy and comfortable with their dental needs. She has over 36 years experience in the health care profession. Her favorite part about working in Dr. Sellman’s office is working with her great experienced team of friends whom she is responsible for keeping busy and on time.

Since 1970 she has seen the path of technology change in the dental office. This keeps her excited about the excellent, efficient & comfortable dental services that Dr. Sellman and his team provide their patients.

Arlene is committed to supplying you with any information you may need regarding the latest in dental services available, dental insurance or treatment plans.

And yes, she does Habla Espanol.

I have always enjoyed working with people ever since I can remember. I like to make people happy and that is why I chose the dental field as my career.

I have worked in a dental office for 4 years now and decided that I wanted to take my career to the next level. I just recently finished the dental assisting program at the Junior College and am going to be taking my board exams in Feb. I have been with Dr. Sellman’s office now for a year and love working with his staff as well as his patients.

I love coming in each day and having Ben (his dog) greet me because he’s such a loving dog and he brightens up your day. I have learned so much from working here and hope to learn more everyday. Dr. Sellman is a great person to work for and even more a great dentist!

I have been working chair side with Dr. Sellman for the last twenty years. I enjoy working and visiting with our patients. Some of them were small children when they started coming to our office with their parents. Now they are parents themselves with children of their own and still coming to us. That means so much to me.

I admire my co-workers as we all respect and help each other. Because we work as a team it is lots of fun working together. Every Wednesday all of us co-workers go out for lunch.

I just love the location of our office. The grounds and the surrounding area are very tranquil and soothing. Oh yes, I almost forgot, Dr. Sellman is a nice boss to work for.

Growing up, I used to wonder why so many of my friends were afraid of going to the dentist. My own experiences were anything but fearful. I just never had a bad time at the dentist. So when it came time to choose a profession, I thought to myself, “If I can help people lose their fear of dentistry, and help them have a good experience in a dental office, that would be something I could feel good about.” I knew my job had to be about more than a paycheck.

Today I focus on creating a sense of ease and trust in the people I see. So does everyone else in our office, and we’ve developed a genuine spirit of teamwork that affects everyone. It’s why I love my job.

Jennifer
Dental Hygienist

Prior to joining Dr. Sellman’s Santa Rosa dental office team Jennifer graduated from the University of California San Francisco Dental Hygiene program in 1995 and has been providing dental hygiene care for the patients of Dr. Sellman’s Santa Rosa dental office since 1995. Jennifer attained a Master’s degree in education from Sonoma State in 2004.

In an effort to provide the highest level of care for all of our dental office patients, Jennifer regularly takes advanced educational courses to keep up on the latest dental techniques and therapies. Jennifer’s responsibility is to educate you, our patients, in the best methods for maintaining your healthy smile.

Her philosophy is that people with the healthiest mouths live longer, better and healthier lives! “I truly enjoy working with Dr. Sellman. He continues to provide outstanding dental care for all his patients. I am proud to say that is why I have chosen him as my family dentist”.

In Jennifer’s time away from Dr. Sellman’s dental office, she is both a didactic and clinical instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College where she teaches clinical Dental Hygiene. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family; her husband, Bruce and two children, Benjamin and Ava, and taking care of her four dogs, five birds, and one cat.

Sellman  Office Mascot

Ben is our all around office canine mascot. He is committed to greeting & making our patients feel comfortable during their dental procedures. You can always find him in a cozy corner. 

He has over 9 years experience in the dental office. When he is not on patient patrol, he loves walks, biscuits and chasing the postal workers and UPS drivers.
